The letter as an art form is an interactive theatrical experience for an audience of one. Most captivating is the sense of time travel where - "the present moment of writing" is stretched like taffy until "the present moment of reading."  The letter itself is imbued with energy and meaning beyond the written word, discovered amidst the layers and folds of the papers which engulf it.
